We’re so glad you’re here.
In case we haven’t met yet, I’m Erin. Like many of you, I wear many hats—mom, wife, teacher, lifelong learner, and someone who cares deeply about supporting personal health and wellness in ways that honor each person’s unique journey.
I want to be clear: I’m not an expert here to tell you what to do. Through this blog, I’ll share my own thoughts and experiences, but more importantly, I hope to spark honest conversation about health, fitness, and well-being.
This is a space for your voice too—because it matters. I invite you to share, question, and explore alongside me as we navigate what feeling good means for each of us.
This blog is part of a bigger vision we’ve held for years: creating a space for real, thoughtful dialogue about what it means to feel well—physically and as a whole person.
After countless client conversations, emails, and word-of-mouth exchanges, it was time to bring everything under one roof. This is it.
Intrinsic is not about dogma, hype, or rigid rules. It’s about curiosity, self-experimentation, and compassion. We’re not here to tell you what to do—we’re here to ask questions, share ideas, and honor the messy, evolving nature of well-being.
At the heart of it all is our mission: helping you find what works for you. No formulas, no one-size-fits-all answers—just an invitation to explore, experiment, and trust yourself. Feeling good in your body isn’t about fitting a mold; it’s about building a life that feels right for you.
Between us, we’ve spent decades in movement, health coaching, and personal growth. We know wellness is deeply personal—and rarely linear. If there’s one truth we stand by, it’s this: there’s no single right way to care for yourself.
While mainstream wellness can focus on routines and aesthetics, we care more about your energy, peace, and self-connection. Movement and nutrition help, but real change starts from within. That’s why Matt named his company Intrinsic Motivation—because the best shifts come from curiosity and self-trust, not guilt or trends.
This blog is an extension of that mission. Here, you’ll find ideas, reflections, tips, and honest lessons from our own experiences.
Topics include:
Movement that feels good
Nutrition without guilt
Mental well-being and stress
Habits that last
Sleep, recovery, and sustainable energy
What’s working for us—and what isn’t
Sometimes we’ll offer tools, other times questions. Always, we’ll share with honesty and openness. Whether you’re starting fresh or deep in your own journey, we hope something here sparks reflection and self-trust.
You are the expert on your own body and life.
Thank you for being here. We’re excited to learn, grow, and connect—with you.
What does well-being mean to you right now?
Drop a comment or send us a message. We’d love to hear from you.
Stay well,
Matt & Erin
